Christine's Story

About 8 years ago, I was diagnosed with Sjogren’s syndrome and it caused intense dry mouth and [inaudible]. I was absolutely miserable. They continue to pull my teeth. They gave me medication for the dry mouth, but the damage had been done.

Since the completion, I've been able to eat whatever I want, which is new and smile, which is something I haven't done in about 8 years. My husband and my entire family noticed a huge change in my attitude.

Dr. Avi:

So Christine came to me and she had a history of bad gums. She had a lot of cavities. She was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Sjogren’s, causing dry mouth. The one thing that she didn’t want to do was restore her teeth with crowns, which I did give her the option to but she chose not to because she didn’t want to invest thousands of dollars in crowns, knowing that with the dry mouth syndrome, it’s only going to cause her teeth to decay.

Christine:

When I came here to do the consultation, Dr. Israeli made me very, very comfortable. As you can imagine, the pain that I was in and the discomfort took a huge toll on my mental health.

So when I came here, he was very, very kind, very personable and made me feel very comfortable because I was always uncomfortable.

Dr. Avi:

We opted to take her teeth out, put implants in give her the smile of her dreams, which is exactly what she wanted.

Christine:

Dr. Israeli was very informative. He explained everything to me, and he was very, very kind. He made me very, very comfortable.

Since the completion, I’ve been able to eat whatever I want, which is new and smile, which is something I haven’t done in about 8 years. My husband and my entire family noticed a huge change in my attitude. I was, at the very least, comfortable but very happy as well. I was able to eat again and I can’t stop smiling. I’m very happy with the results.

Dr. Israeli and his wife, Deborah, are very, very kind people. He makes you feel very comfortable as well.

This whole process was actually amazing. I’m very, very pleased with the result. I can live a normal life now which is awesome. No more pain. I’m very, very happy.
