Are you looking for “Botox/ Xeomin/ Dysport near me”?

Sage Dental and Spa in Wall Township, NJ provides BOTOX, XEOMIN, and DYSPORT treatments as part of our facial spa artistry.

Using neurotoxins such as Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport for cosmetic and therapeutic purposes has been around for years. Most plastic surgeons use these products routinely in their clinics. Now, both Dr. Avi Israeli and his wife, Deborah Israeli have taken extensive training and are certified to offer these services to their patients.

The cosmetic uses of these products include: to quickly get rid of fine lines and wrinkles in the forehead, glabellar area, crow’s feet, gummy smiles, and lip flip (relaxing the muscles in the upper lip to flip your lip upward, giving a fuller look).

The therapeutic uses of the products include treating TMJ, migraines, grinding masseter muscles, as well as head and neck pain.

These materials can also be used for Fillers, such as: to accentuate, lift, and give symmetry to the facial areas including the cheekbones, the jawline, the chin (to balance the face), the lips, the vermillion border, tear trough, and the temples. In addition, these products can be used for a non-surgical Rhinoplasty. Certain dermal fillers are not to be used in the glabellar region due to the risk of arterial or vascular occlusion.

What Is Botox®

BOTOX® is a product that when injected into the muscles of the face will temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow’s feet lines. It is a quick 10-minute procedure that won’t need anesthesia and can create noticeable differences in adults within 24-48 hours.

BOTOX® is a brand name with a product composed of the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. This product is the first injectable botulinum toxin, and it is also FDA approved so the results are predictable and subtle. It has over 16 years of usage in facial esthetics and is approved in 98 countries around the world.

Repeated squinting, smiling, raising eyebrows or frowning can cause the muscles to create a furrow from the muscle contractions. BOTOX® allows for gently making these lines less noticeable – so you will still look like you, only younger!

Two Types Of Wrinkles

There are two different types of wrinkles on our bodies: dynamic wrinkles and static wrinkles. Dynamic wrinkles are wrinkles that form because of our repetitive muscle movement through the years. For example, we get smile lines when we smile, forehead wrinkles when we raise our eyebrows, or crow’s feet when we smile and squint our eyes. On the other hand, static wrinkles are wrinkles that are formed as we age and lose collagen and elastin in our skin. These wrinkles can be found around the mouth area, cheeks, and other parts of the body.

Frequently Asked Questions

BOTOX® is for both men and women and in fact, the number of aesthetic-conscious men is a fast-growing part of our population today. The best part is that it has very minimal “downtime”. You can actually return to work right after your appointment.

BOTOX® works by temporarily “paralyzing” certain targeted muscles when injected. The muscles can’t contract since they can no longer receive signals from the nerves.

Other uses of Botox® include the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ/TMD) and bruxism. By injecting right into the facial and jaw muscles, it can provide almost immediate relief from jaw tension and soreness. These can be used to treat lockjaw and eliminate or reduce bruxism (night grinding).

XEOMIN® (incobotulinumtoxinA) is another anti-wrinkle product containing botulinum toxin that is clinically proven to reduce the frown lines between the eyebrows. It tends to last a few weeks longer than BOTOX®. While the method of action and the overall cost is about the same, the packaging for the two is slightly different and XEOMIN® requires more tubules.

XEOMIN® contains only a single ingredient, whereas the other products may also have preservatives or other additives. It doesn’t necessarily mean that it is better or worse than the other products and in fact, clinical studies show very similar results between all three of these products. Because Xeomin doesn’t have additives, it doesn’t require refrigeration.

ONSET of full effect is slightly slower than the others – up to 4 days.

DYSPORT® is another product similar to the above products and it is typically packaged in smaller dosages. It has a proven track record of safety and efficacy for providing a smoother facial skin tone that still looks and feels natural.

Although the primary usage of these products from our perspective is to help reduce wrinkles, in some cases these products can also help with involuntary muscle twitching or contractions. This is also known as Dystonia. This typically will involve a medical diagnosis, however.

The best way to find out which one of these methods is best for you is to come in for a confidential consultation today. Call Dr. Avi Israeli today for your aesthetic consultation appointment or click on the Request an Appointment button.

The price of the procedures depends upon the location, the number of syringes of material, and the number of cc’s per dosage you will be using.
