Dental Implant Placement

Dental Implants are a safe, durable method for replacing missing teeth. They function and look like your own natural teeth. Dr. Avi Israeli at Sage Dental and Facial Spa in Wall, NJ, will evaluate your mouth and give you guidance on what is the best method to restore your natural smile and function.

At our office, we have done close to 1000 dental implant cases and this has given us a broad knowledge of the different systems available also we can offer you the best option for your particular situation.

Using our 3D conebeam x-ray, we are able to virtually place your implant using the advanced software to predict exactly where the best position for an implant would be. In addition, we can tell which size and length of implant would best serve you.

Because Dr. Israeli restores the implants, he will make sure that when the surgical phase is done, the implant will be placed into the bone, in the exact location we need to complete the second restorative phase. Some offices only place implants and some only restore them. At SAGE DENTAL you will have both stages done by the same dentist.

Whether you need a single tooth replacement or multiple teeth replaced, we have got you covered when it comes to dental implants.

In general, for an implant in a non-esthetic area, we like to let it sit for a few months to integrate into the bone before we “load” the post with a tooth that you would chew on. If we are taking out multiple teeth and delivering an immediate set of teeth – which we call ImmediaTEETH®, then you will have an arch full of teeth that same day.

How would I know if I am a candidate for dental implants?

Not everyone is a candidate for implants. They require a certain amount of space to place them, they require a specific density and height and width of bone for them to stabilize in the jaw bone. Certain medications, medical conditions, and oral habits might affect the success rate for you. When you come in for your complete examination, Dr. Israeli will discuss all of the factors that can affect the success rate in your specific situation.

How long should dental implants last?

When placed into healthy bone by a competent surgeon and restored properly, with good home care, they should last a lifetime.
