Dr. Israeli is the best dentist I have ever had. I am 64 and I have had several over the years. I have never felt ANY pain during all my procedures. I hope Dr. Israeli does not retire soon! The staff is very friendly and send you text messages to remind you of your appointment. Everything is neat and clean.
They are the best dentists around!! They’re always very friendly and professional. I never have to wait long and they always have me right in and out. They don’t hurt you and make sure that you’re comfortable!! The have a gorgeous office and try not to doze off on their super comfy sofas!!
Dental Crowns
Teeth are meant to last a long time. Unfortunately, over time, with exposure to stresses, acids, or decay they may break. If they fracture above the gumline, they can usually be saved with a crown. If they break into the root, or deeper below the bone level, we may not e able to grab enough support to bond anything to the tooth and it may need an implant or root canal to save it.
A crown is a method to protect the tooth from letting larger fractures split a tooth in half. A small amount is shaved off the sides and top of the tooth to make room for the cap to fit over the remaining tooth. By the time we take out the decay and unsupported tooth structure, we will do our best to protect the tooth with the crown.

Crowns can also be used to cover badly discolored teeth, or close gaps or change the shape of a tooth to match the bite better. A crown is the top part of the tooth. If a tooth is extracted (removed) and an implant is placed, it will also need a crown on top of the implant post.
Our office uses the CEREC machine to create beautiful in-office crowns the same day! Using digital technology, we scan the tooth and virtually create the crown with advanced software. It mills the crowns right there in our office from solid blocks of porcelain. These crowns are as strong as the lab made crowns because of the way they are fabricated. They can be bonded to your tooth just like lab crowns and you don’t have any “down time” with a temporary crown.
