Since everyone’s situation is different, your complete recovery will depend on your oral and general health. In general, the average time for implants to integrate fully with your jaw bone is four to six months. However, most people are able to return to work and their normal daily routine the following day.
Since biting and chewing place extreme pressure on your teeth and gums, we advise you to have a soft food diet for at least two months after receiving your ImmediaTEETH™ implants. Typically, any discomfort you may experience can be relieved with a cold compress and over-the-counter medication.
In addition, you may also be required to visit the Sage Dental clinic at one week, 4 weeks, and 12 weeks after your procedure so Dr. Israeli can assess your recovery and ensure that your implants and gums are healing properly.
Once your ImmediaTEETH™ implants have successfully bonded to your jaw bone, your temporary prosthesis can be replaced by your permanent new prosthetic teeth to create your beautiful new smile and restore your confidence.
Finally, after receiving your ImmediaTEETH™ dental implants, it is essential that you follow a thorough at-home brushing and flossing routine to keep your gums healthy so they can support your new teeth. We’ll also schedule regular appointment checkups every six months with Dr. Israeli to ensure your implants remain strong.
